›What is X (Twitter) due diligence?
It's a background check on someone's public X (formerly Twitter) presence before you invest in them, hire them, or partner with them. diligence.social automates it: we pull the profile's tweet history — replies included — and use AI to surface controversial posts, strong opinions, and anything matching criteria you define, each with a link to the original post.
›What does a scan check for?
Three things: potentially controversial or problematic posts (the reputational-risk stuff), strong opinions that tell you how the person thinks, and custom screening criteria you write yourself — for example "check if they posted about raising money" or "what's their stance on AI". Every finding quotes the tweet and links to it, so you can verify in one click.
›How much does it cost?
Two tiers: a Quick scan ($9) covers up to the most recent 2,000 posts, and a Deep scan ($19) covers up to 10,000. No subscription — you pay per scan.
›How long does a scan take?
A Quick scan typically finishes in 5–10 minutes and a Deep scan in 20–40 minutes. You don't need to wait on the page: the finished report is emailed to you, and the report link keeps working for 30 days.
›Do you scan replies too?
Yes. Replies are where people are least guarded, so we include every reply X makes publicly available — not just top-level posts.
›Do you keep my data or the scanned tweets?
No. Raw scraped tweets are purged as soon as your report is generated, and the report itself is automatically deleted 30 days after creation. We keep only the email address you gave us so we can send you the report.
›Can you get every tweet someone has ever posted?
We fetch everything X makes publicly available, which for older accounts can be less than the full history — X hides part of deep archives (mostly old replies) from all public access. If you need more depth than a Deep scan covers, email hello@curiousapple.xyz and we'll help.
